Meet Toni, Carmigo’s newest Dealer Sales Representative

With an exceptional track record and a deep understanding of the industry, Toni brings a wealth of experience to Carmigo.

We’re excited to welcome Toni Paige to the Carmigo team as our newest Dealer Sales Representative.

Toni is no stranger to the world of auto auctions. She entered the industry as an Auction Coordinator for IAA. There, she was in charge of setting up new provider contracts, registering new buyers, and a myriad of other responsibilities that helped build their pipeline of inventory in her six-year tenure. Toni then joined Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auction as their Professional Sales Representative, which has historically transacted over 15,000 vehicles annually.

Toni’s keen ability to empathize with dealers’ needs makes her a perfect fit for Carmigo’s customer-centric approach. As we embark on exciting ventures, we are thrilled to harness Toni’s skills to help our mission of making managing inventory easier.

Toni’s first focus is helping dealers in our Jackson, MS market. If you’re in Jackson and want to see how Carmigo can make it easier to manage your lot, give us a shout.

Mississippi-based startup recognized as industry innovator.

TUPELO, Miss. — Cherokee Media Group, the leading news source for the pre-owned automotive industry, named Carmigo one of the eight most promising companies using technology to improve an aspect of the automotive industry.

“We are thrilled to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s honorees who are setting new standards for excellence in the automotive industry,” Cherokee Media Group president Bill Zadeits said. “The Emerging 8 award program was developed to fulfill our commitment to honor companies that push the boundaries of innovation.”

The award is given annually to companies selected from a candidate pool nominated by industry leaders.

“Being named an Emerging 8 company is special to us because it reflects our mission,” said Andrew Warmath, Carmigo founder, and CEO. “We have the words ‘Make it easy’ covering a wall in our office because we want to use our technology to make buying and selling cars easier. This recognition affirms our mission.”

Carmigo’s technological advantage is its mobile inspection tool that allows consumers to list their cars to our network of dealerships in less than 10 minutes. The tool, combined with Carmigo’s industry-standard auction platform, diversifies the inventory sources, connecting car dealerships with a variety of daily inventory that includes consumer, fleet, sub-prime, dealer, and overage cars.

“The 2023 Emerging 8 honorees are making significant contributions to the automotive industry through their innovative use of technology,” said Amanda Dunlap, EVP of events and marketing at Cherokee Media Group. “We are proud to recognize their ingenuity and we look forward to celebrating their success at this year’s Auto Intel Summit.”

As a part of the recognition, Carmigo is featured in the April issue of Auto Fin Journal and will be recognized at the April 19 Auto Intel Summit in Raleigh, N.C.

Mississippi Tech Startup Carmigo Hits 4,000 Cars Sold Milestone

Mississippi Tech Startup Carmigo Hits 4,000 Cars Sold Milestone

Carmigo just sold the 4,000th car on its online used-car marketplace. The Mississippi-based automotive tech startup is poised to continue its exponential growth in the coming year despite an industry-wide market slowdown.

Carmigo, a Mississippi-based technology start-up, just sold its 4,000th car.

This milestone comes while other online tech companies in automotive continue to struggle.

“Last year was an exciting ride, seeing the used car market reach stratospheric highs before plummeting back to earth,” said Carmigo CEO and Founder Andrew Warmath. “We got to experience that unprecedented growth. But then we were quickly forced to adapt and innovate in order to grow when other companies in our industry were struggling.”

Carmigo sold just over 1,000 cars in its first year of operations after launching in January 2021. Now, after only one more year, the Tupelo-based company has quadrupled its sales.

Carmigo plans to continue connecting individuals with car dealerships through key product improvements and a profitable acquisition strategy.

TUPELO, MISS. (PRWEB) AUGUST 16, 2022

Tupelo-based tech startup Carmigo has announced the close of its most recent funding round. After receiving $7 million from both the original and new investors, Carmigo will continue building its marketplace that connects consumers with dealerships. This funding round brings the total investment in Carmigo to $10 million since its launch in January 2021.

Tupelo Auto Online Startup Aims to Stem ‘Brain Drain’ by Selling Used Cars

Tupelo Auto Online Startup Aims to Stem ‘Brain Drain’ by Selling Used Cars

By Kayode Brown | April 7, 2022

Carmigo Founder and CEO Andrew Warmath got the idea for starting his Tupelo-based company during the COVID-19 pandemic, when demand for used cars increased because of the virus’ impact on the economy and, especially, on vehicle manufacturing, with factories shutting down.

His business allows owners to sell their used cars to the highest bidder among various auto dealerships. “Right when the pandemic first started, everything just shut down,” he said in a March 15, 2022, Zoom interview. “Most (auto) retail (outlets) were shut down overnight, but a few weeks later, the faucet turned back on, and traditional supply for cars was shut off while demand exploded.”

“So dealerships were looking all over for different sources of inventory, and we were having trouble finding it,” he added. Barnes Crossing Auto Group, the company for which he worked the time as chief financial officer, experienced the same need.

Now with about 30 employees, most of them in Mississippi, a big part of Warmath’s focus is offering employment in the Magnolia State to combat brain drain, he says.
