About the position

We are searching for a Software Engineer II to help us enhance and maintain our web app and api. Our engineering team is constantly working to build the tools necessary to support the growth of Carmigo.

The Intermediate Software Engineer will have a unique opportunity to help grow an early stage tech company and will be exposed to our entire tech stack.  This position will enhance your leadership skills and push your engineering abilities to the next level.

What you will do

• Design and execute projects to improve our vue.js webapp and node.js API.
• Create technical specs and present them to our lead engineer
• Lead other engineers to execute technical specs
• Work with our Lead Engineer and members of our leadership team to influence the direction of a young and ambitious company
• Research and propose new concepts and ideas

What your experience looks like

• 3 years minimum professional experience in web development
• Experience designing and executing projects
• Constant desire to become a better engineer
• Strong communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity and not afraid to think big
• Leadership experience is a big plus

About the Position

We are searching for a Customer Success Representative to build on the already stellar custom-centric process. Since launching our marketplace, over 40% of our customers are leaving positive Google/Facebook reviews. Over 85% of our customers have referred us to someone else! The Customer Success Representative will have the opportunity to come alongside sellers and walk them through our process. The CSR will stand ready to assist sellers with questions or concerns as they sell their vehicle.

• Manage sales flow inside Customer Relationship Management tool
• Encourage referrals by using the Carmigo Referral Program
• Ability to adapt to new challenges

The Junior Software Engineer will have a unique opportunity to help grow a tech company from ground zero and will be exposed to our entire tech stack.  We firmly believe that this position will provide unparalleled growth potential for young engineers.  This position is not for the faint of heart – A Junior Engineer must be passionate about technology and be driven to make an impact, but if the mentality is there, this opportunity is as good as it gets.

• Use Vue.js to expand, maintain, and improve our web app
• Use Node.js to expand, maintain, and improve our private API
• Maintain our postgres database
• Build software solutions to improve the Carmigo experience of Buyers, Sellers, as well as internal teams
• Research and propose new concepts and ideas

What your experience looks like

• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or professional experience
• Work study or internships
• Strong professional recommendation
• Constant desire to become a better engineer
• Strong communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity and not afraid to think big
